The global Coronavirus pandemic has brought a significant disruption to our lives and has also been a catalyst for the health trend, spurring consumers to examine labels more closely, reduce sugar consumption, seek out immunity boosting ingredients and reduce their consumption
of animal products. According to Food dive, 85% of consumers globally plan to eat healthier as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and are turning more towards plant-protein.
Today, being healthy is no longer about avoiding unhealthy products, but more about consuming products which add health value and which contain healthier or cleaner ingredients.
At FSL – Aromatech we are seeing an increase in demand for our range of our Organic Flavors which are suitable for use in any functional food application.
What are Organic Flavors?
Organic flavors are produced with ingredients which are organically sourced and produced and are free from genetically modified substances. The ingredients used must be at least 95% of the organic source and the remaining 5% must be ingredients including the solvents and carriers listed in the USDA organic regulations.
Forms and Suitable Applications
Just like any other flavoring substance, we have a range of organic flavors that are halal, heat and acid stable and are suitable in various food applications ranging from beverages, dairy products, bakery applications and confectionery products. Our organic flavors are also
available in different forms such as liquid, powder and granulated flavors. Their clean label make them highly recommended for functional foods and plant-based products.
Certifications
The Organic Flavor Range is inspected and certified by Ecocert (Europe) and or BCS for National Organic Program USA. Our partner, Aromatech is a proud member of SYNABIO (The French Organic Trade Association), OTA (Organic Trade Association) in the USA and IMO (The International “the Institute for Market Ecology” located in Switzerland).
