Winter Crop Thailand’s summer crop is underway, but deliveries are below average. Farmers are harvesting all fruit due to competition. Lower-grade fruit trades at THB10/kg, higher quality at THB12–13/kg.
Concentrate prices range from USD 4,400–4,800/MT FOB Bangkok. Factories will close mid-July for maintenance before reopening in September.
The 2025 production forecast is 700,000–800,000 MT, down from over 2 million in recent years. Inter crop outlook will be available in August.
Costa Rica
The main crop has begun. Output is expected to match 2024 levels, though fresh market demand is limiting processing availability.
Factory volumes are 30–50% below normal. NFC exports to Europe are just 30,000 MT compared to 55,000–60,000 MT in past years. Stocks are almost depleted and balance may take 3–4 months to restore.
Indonesia
Producers face poor availability and backlog of orders similar to other producing regions.
