MANGO JUICE CROP UPDATES - Q4 2024

India

India’s Alphonso puree stocks are sufficient to meet demand until the next crop, while demand for Totapuri concentrate has stabilised despite buyers holding off for potential price drops.

Colombia

Growing conditions for the forthcoming Winter crop in Colombia remain favourable and local producers are expecting a normal crop. Processing should begin later this month. There are only limited stocks available from the 2024 Summer crop, but shipments are stable. Demand from North America and the Middle East has been strong and interest from Europe is starting to pick up. Exporters say that some buyers have added volume to their current and many are already starting to ask for supplies from the main Summer crop next year.

Mexico

The 2024 mango crop in Mexico wound up in September. Production was slightly lower than last year and the market there is now seen as sold out. Therefore, they will be zero carry-in supplies going into the 2025 crop, which will begin in March.

Ecuador & Peru

Ecuador and Peru expect a 20% increase in mango puree and concentrate production this season, bolstered by favourable weather and the introduction of the Edward variety alongside traditional types.
