GRAPE CROP UPDATES - Q3 2024

The output from Argentina’s 2024 grape crop has been revised upward to 1.9 Million MT* from the previous estimate of 1.8 Million MT.

While this is 10% below the last 10-year average, it is still significantly higher than last year’s production. With carryover supplies from 2023 and the new crop, the Argentinean industry will have approximately 95,000 MT available for export this year.

Local producers report strong demand, with the main buying markets being very active. They note that grape juice supply in Europe is currently limited until the upcoming 2024 crops begin and the strong apple juice concentrate market there is boosting demand for Argentinean grape juice concentrate.
