APPLE JUICE CROP UPDATES - Q4 2024

Poland: Quality Amidst Decline

Poland, Europe’s largest apple producer, reported its second-lowest production in a decade, with juice acidity levels dropping to a record low of 2.2% – 2.3%. Despite these challenges, apple juice concentrate volumes remain stable for now, although sourcing high-acid products is expected to become increasingly difficult.

China & Chile: Contrasting Outlooks

China’s apple juice production is down to 350,000 MT, a significant drop from typical volumes driven by delayed crops and volatile raw material prices. In contrast, Chile anticipates a favourable 2025 season, supported by excellent Winter and Spring conditions.
