APPLE JUICE CROP UPDATES - Q3 2025

Poland

Poland’s outlook is mixed. Spring frosts and rain affected orchards unevenly and estimates from KUPS conference 2025/26 is production could range between 3.4–4.0 million MT.

Finalized 2024/25 crop reached 3.4 million MT, with 245,000 MT of juice concentrate from local apples and 285,000 MT in total, including imports.

With fresh stocks falling to 229,000 MT by May and strong fresh market prices, spring processing volumes have been limited. NFC production is minimal as processors await the new crop.

Regional Updates:

Turkey

2024/25 concentrate estimated at 85,000–90,000 MT. April frosts may affect 2025/26.

Moldova

Recovering to ~55,000 MT. Smaller fruit size is slightly lowering yields.

Ukraine

Constrained at ~40,000 MT due to reduced investments and ongoing challenges.

China

Severe weather could reduce apple production by up to 40% in some areas, with overall crop down 10–15% year-on-year. Official estimates are still pending but fresh market prices are already rising.
